In skies of white and grey
The gap where sun bursts through
To brighten stormy days
We’re shooting for the blue
Beyond the green and brown
When earthly strides won’t do
To take us where we’re bound
We’re dreaming of the blue
Where oceans ebb and flow
Our aim and flight is true
Like arrows from the bow
We’re reaching for the blue
Ahead of humdrum days
We’re powered by the hue
Of shining azure ways
We’re chasing after blue
And shall not rest or tire
Together we’ll get through
And quench our blue desire
