A pulse of tests and time

A swirl of leaves and dust

Dance me even though I’ve sinned

With angry words and lust

 

Dance me badly

Dance me madly

Dance me wildly

Dance me childly

Dance – forever friends

 

Dance me to a different tune

A rhythm soft and slow

Dance me to a waning moon

Of memories’ ebb and flow

 

Dance me surely

Dance me purely

Dance me to the ends

 

Dance me sadly

Dance me gladly
