Battle Days

in the battle-days ahead

i need strength i don't feel, in the midst of weakness

i need faith i don't hold, in the midst of doubt

i need courage i don't possess, in the midst of fear

i need hope i don't see, in the midst of despair

 

i am fighting a 100-day war

without any armour

without any plan b

without knowing

if love will survive
