Paula Marsh: I've just found your article - lovely to read something by a South African. I came to England 10 years ago and now plan to return, to begin a new life in Africa.

Karen Weinberg: Wow, I didn't know you could paint, I'm very impressed. Man of many talents.

Jeanette: Gee - your painting is amazing!  Such beautiful bright colours in the sky and once again the water is so effective.

Zoe Lees: I love this poem. Africa will be glad when you return.

Shaun Scrooby: I recently read your poem I am an African and I wrote you to comment on it. To tell you the truth, I have fallen in love with it and like to get your permission to use it on my website. I am thinking of including into my welcome information pack that I give every client before departing on their African journey. I thank you in advance and keep on writing such wonderful material!!!!!!!

Venkat: It is true what you say about Africa I lived in Venda for 5 years and i loved it The only problem is the crime which at times though exaggerated i did not face it since i stayed away from big cities. I enjoyed your poems.

Shaun Scrooby: I have recently come across your poem - I am an African - and I thought it to be one of the best I have encountered in a long time. recently moved to Madrid and I relate with it - you wouldn't believe how much. Once it is in your blood, you can't get away from it. I am lover of Africa and all that is African. Africa is that part us, that keeps the rhythm and sense to our lives.

Goldensaxe:   I LOVED this poem. I am going to frame one. I am from South African and that is the best poem i have ever read. I hope you have happy holidays.

Kimberly: I have to agree with all the comments about your writing I am an African.  It is an amazing tribute to African and all she stands for.  I downloaded the wallpaper and it proudly greets me everyday.  Africa, she called to your soul, and you answered beautifully.

Kimberly: I enjoyed your thoughts on Seasons very much. Thank you for putting into words something we all should see... that these seasons are welcomed, appreciated and respected, come what may.

Angel Jones: I am an African is beautiful, it makes my eyes rain.

Steuart Pennington: Lekker!

Denis Beckett: Yep I certainly relate to I am an African. Excellent poem, and very evocative.

Karen Weinberg: Wow, I am an African is brilliant, well done! I really think it needs to be seen by more people. Isn't there a poetry society of SA or something. It really just says it all. Try to get more people interested in it.

Peter Willis: I am an African is really beautiful and very timely. I definitely relate to it. May I share it around? [Of course, Peter. Wayne]

Jackie: Nice webpage!!!  I love the art!!! You are amazing!!! I can see the practice is paying off..... I really love the self portrait too...It looks sooooo real!!! And faces are really hard to do

Kathleen: Your portrait is really good for a first time. I'm amazed you're not been tempted to try art before as you obviously have an eye for it. Woman with Boa is lovely too with the colours in it really subtlely done. I have to admit that when I read the title I was expecting a boa constrictor snake - have no idea why.

Olivia Rhode: I must say your website is awesome hey.  I will visit your website on a regular basis now.

Berend & Jeanette: Wayne,  we went into your website and had a look at your paintings. They really are beautiful.  The one in green, Madonna and child is really quite something.  The colours in the various sun scapes are gorgeous.  Bird had me fooled for a while.  Thought you had managed to detail feathers in paint too.
